I love an all white on white exterior house. The home becomes a blank canvas and all the colors of nature surrounding the home can even strengthen the architecture.

The color white gives the since of protection and encouragement. White gives the sense of simplicity, peace, calmness, comfort and hope, which in return helps alleviate emotional upsets. The color white can also create a sense of order and efficiency. Just think! If your home is painted white then everyday you have this since of feeling when you leave your home to start a brand new day and when you come home from a crazy hectic day. That would be such a great feeling to have.

An all white home can also really enhance more of the trim and architecture details. The eye wants to focus in on and around the curves and edges that the light and shadows play on the surface.

Different colors mean many things. So I love the fact that the study of white has also shown it can keep one in line for keeping things clean and gives an inner urge to declutter your life. With that white offers that inner cleansing and purifying of your thoughts, emotions and, ultimately, your spirit, refreshing and strengthening your entire energy system.

If you think all the white is a bit much try adding a little pop of color on the entry door or go a few shades darker of white on the shutters. Adding color in and around your landscaping will also help add interest.
